Kenyans should Know that Mr David Kimaiyo is not a fool to have vacated the office of the Inspector General. He is supposed to be respected from the step he has taken. This can not be termed as failure, he knows what he is doing and is aware that that post is not an easy one. That is a post that have a lot of weight than many of us can be able to see. How do you expect him to enjoy his work seeing that the terrorists that are concerned here are people who do not value their life in any way. The biggest value that they attach to their lives is death in Jihad which guarantees them a direct journey to heaven. On top of going to heaven, they will be welcomed by angels and given 72 virgins for the good work they did when here an earth. How do you expect them not to even put their fingers into your eyes so that you can take them quick to heaven. Kimaiyo must have a very tough time dealing with such people, given to the fact that he have soldiers who value their lives and have families to take care of. This is the biggest challenge that is present at the docket of security for now.
Even the person that will take up this responsibility should know that Mr Kimaiyo is not a failure, you need to see far than you can imagine for you to succeed in that post. If you do not see far, your life will be short there. I do not mean that Kimaiyo never saw far, but you need to see far. Aware of the kind of people you are dealing with, you can have a success.
